SFTU neck tattoo (seek, first, to understand). Yes, plenty have thought this to signify “shut fuck the up.” Along with the STFU tattoo is a tribal design, signifying that people seem separate from a distance, connected when closer, distinct when close enough.

Know your enemy chest tattoo: always a principle, never a person.

“The Perils of Obedience” (abdomen) The Perils of Obedience is the title of the published research from the famous Milgram Experiment.

  (xiadantian 下丹田) symbol for balance.

Left hand’s green, for my baby Aiden, points to you; right hand is purple for my baby Athena, points to me.

Question-marks = choices ☯ for each dot = balance now, whenever I look at my hands, they remind me of my sons and daughters, and that, by every choice, I should seek balance: to choose that which reunites me with my kids justly, while seeking fairness (principled equilibrium), for myself and others.

[Hourglass] (below “Fundatio pro vita est vicis”)

-rainbow (life’s variety)
-top space: infinity (infinite potential)
-bottom space: infinity (infinite consequences)

(each shoulder) Infinity on the shoulder, because infinite potential begins there. (Left is blue, for my baby, Aiden. Right is pink, for my baby, Athena.)

I don’t understand why you punctuate your SFTU tattoo as “seek, first, to understand”. It strikes me as incorrect since the words imply a statement not in need of so many commas. Explain?
Also, I see you talk a lot about your kids and making choices for them and to “bring them back to you”. What is it that you are doing in order to make this happen? Seems to me that you have a lot of words about this subject but little action. I could be wrong though.

I find it interesting that you attempt to transcend gender stereotypes, yet you chose blue for a boy and pink for a girl.

You are an intriguing mess of contradictions, Russ. I hope you get the help you so painfully need, but I suspect it is more likely you will one day be yet another suicide. Just don’t hurt any more people, okay Russ? You’ve done enough.

    • Russ says:

yeah, it was among the most deliberate choices to go with those stereotypical colors. but in the end, one of my babies likes pink and the other likes blue; and so I correctly matched them to those color-preferences, as a reminder to take people as they are, not as you would prefer they were 😉

and I anticipate suicide too–I’ve been saying that for a LONG time 😉

” you will one day be yet another suicide” disregard ignorant statements No person should wish anything of a sort on anyone it is just like committing the act yourself.. Cultural norms change everyday including peoples ability to be accepting of what is unique based on their perceptions of what is the norm. You just slightly modified my view Russ, because I was slow to hear you out at first stunned by the body decor.. keep doing you. :0)
